Olga Zubarry was an Argentine actress born on January 30, 1929, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her acting career in the late 1940s and went on to star in numerous films and television shows throughout her career, becoming a popular leading lady in Argentine cinema.
Zubarry gained international recognition for her role in the film "La Casa del Angel" (1957) which earned her critical acclaim and won her the Best Actress award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. She also starred in several other successful films like "La Pícara Soñadora" (1956), "La Cigarra no es un Bicho" (1972), and "La Guerra Gaucha" (1942).
In addition to her film career, Zubarry also worked extensively in theater and television. She appeared in popular telenovelas such as "La Extraña Dama" (1989) and "Vulnerables" (1999-2000).
Zubarry died on December 21, 2012, at the age of 83. She is remembered as one of the most iconic actresses in Argentine cinema.
